Around 8:40 a.m., the woman walked into JC Tires Shop near Rockaway Parkway and Avenue N, minding her own business. Suddenly, the robber grabbed her phone and shoved her hard to the ground. He didn’t stop there—he kicked her multiple times and whipped out a firearm, pointing it right at her while hurling threats.
The attacker wore a green jacket, camouflage pants, a black hat, and had a black face mask dangling off his chin. After the assault, he fled south on Rockaway Parkway. Medics treated the victim right at the scene, and luckily, she didn’t need to go to the hospital.
