Born on September 17, 1950, in Mehsana, Gujarat, PM Modi first gained fame as Gujarat’s Chief Minister, serving three terms from 2001 to 2014. He became India’s Prime Minister in 2014 and is now in his third term, leading the nation with his focus on development and unity.

The birthday celebrations have turned into a nationwide event through the BJP’s ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ campaign, running from September 17 to October 2. People from all corners of India are sending tributes, and communities are organizing service activities to mark the occasion.

Chishty highlighted how the ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ reflects PM Modi’s commitment to service and progress. “The entire nation is observing this day as a time for giving back,” he added. “It shows PM Modi’s dedication to advancing India and creating a powerful presence on the world stage.”

He also commended PM Modi’s inclusive approach with the motto ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Samman’—meaning support for all, development for all, trust for all, and respect for all. Recalling PM Modi’s words on empowering Muslim children, Chishty noted, “He wants to see the Quran in one hand and a laptop in the other, helping Muslims join the mainstream and contribute to their families, society, and the nation.”
