The electronica India and productronica India 2025 trade fairs just wrapped up at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bengaluru, drawing huge crowds and sparking tons of business deals in the electronics world. Over three exciting days ending September 24, the events pulled in more than 6,000 global brands from over 50 countries and attracted 50,194 trade professionals eager to explore the latest in electronics manufacturing.
Messe Muenchen India organized these co-located shows, turning them into a hotspot for everyone in the electronics value chain—from design and components to assembly, automation, embedded systems, and quality checks. Big international players used the event to strengthen their presence in India, while local manufacturers, Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) providers, and suppliers showed off their cutting-edge skills, all aimed at landing export deals abroad.
Government officials from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu stepped up too, highlighting state efforts to build thriving electronics hubs. Key figures like Shri. Rahul Sharanappa Sankanur, IAS, Managing Director of Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS); Smt. Gunjan Krishna, IAS, Commissioner of Industries and Commerce; and Dr. Darez Ahamed, IAS, Managing Director of Guidance Tamil Nadu, shared their support for growing the sector. International pavilions from Japan, Taiwan, and Germany stood out, making the fairs a prime entry point for global companies tapping into India’s booming electronics ecosystem.
One standout feature was the Buyer-Seller Forum, where teams set up over 2,000 targeted meetings. Sourcing experts from industries like automotive, industrial automation, and consumer electronics—think giants such as Samsung, Spark Minda, and Jio Platforms—connected directly with component makers and tech providers, paving the way for fresh partnerships.
Cricket star Rohit Sharma served as the brand ambassador, helping the event reach even more people outside the core industry crowd.
The fairs went beyond booths with a packed lineup of talks and sessions to dive into tech trends and strategies. Highlights included the India Semiconductor Conclave on policy and design; the CEO Forum tackling procurement and small business strategies; and the eFuture Conference, where experts chatted about emerging tech and the electronics industry’s future path. Other hits were the eMobility Conference, Innovation Forum, and a Live Podcast Zone, offering real insights from innovators and leaders.
Industry voices praised the event’s impact. Rajoo Goel, Secretary General of ELCINA, said, “This edition shows the real depth in India’s electronics scene. We’re not just assembling anymore—we’re building a full ecosystem with advanced skills across the board. The smart discussions here prove Indian players are ready for high-level global ties that go way beyond basic production.”
From a worldwide view, Dr. Reinhard Pfeiffer, CEO of Messe Muenchen GmbH, added, “India isn’t just rising—it’s a must-have link in the global electronics supply chain. It shines in production, design, resilient supply chains, and innovation. These fairs let international folks see India’s progress up close, building trust and sparking investments and collaborations.”
Bhupinder Singh, President of IMEA at Messe Muenchen and CEO of Messe Muenchen India, wrapped it up: “The 2025 shows have locked in the industry’s faith in these platforms. They drive the next wave of electronics manufacturing in India through real cross-border connections, setting the stage for deeper global ties and tech teamwork.”
Looking ahead, starting in 2026, electronica India and productronica India will go bi-annual, hitting Greater Noida in April and Bengaluru in September. This move gives the fast-growing Indian electronics sector more regular chances to connect with markets and match shifting business rhythms.
