Arjun Das, the Tamil actor starring in the upcoming action thriller They Call Him OG, shared a touching social media post on Wednesday, pouring out his gratitude to the film’s team—and especially to lead star Pawan Kalyan. In a lengthy three-page message written in Telugu and English, Das announced he’ll now call the Telugu superstar his "Annaya," meaning elder brother.

Das kicked off by thanking director Sujeeth and the entire crew for their hard work on the movie. But he saved his most heartfelt words for Pawan Kalyan, whom fans know as the Power Star. "Ever since OG started shooting, Pawan’s fans would rush up to me with two questions: updates on the film and how Pawan Sir is doing," Das wrote. "I’d just say he’s great, and they’d walk away beaming. I know that love is for him, but it warms my heart to be part of it."

He reminisced about their first chat, saying it blew his mind when Pawan mentioned watching his interviews. "I called my parents right away and told them, ‘Pawan Kalyan Sir knows me—he knows my name!’" Das shared. Despite their limited talks during the busy shoot—totaling just two hours—he promised to treasure every moment. "I’ll never forget what you said or our conversations. Now I get why they call you the Power Star—it’s the power in your heart. Your kindness, generosity, and humility shine through, and you’re so hardworking. On screen, you’re stylish, but in real life, you’re even more so!"

Das highlighted Pawan’s genuine care, even amid a packed schedule. "With people waiting everywhere, you gave me your full attention," he noted. He recalled a sweet gesture during filming when Pawan changed his blood-stained shirt just so they could snap a photo together. Das also thanked him for shouting out his voice work on another project via Twitter, even though it wasn’t required.

"I’m serious, Pawan Sir—with me, no favors needed. Just ask, and I’ll be there with a message or call," Das added. He expressed hope to team up again and admitted he’ll miss their daily hugs on set. Looking ahead, he vowed to jump at any chance to work with Pawan, whether it’s a voice-over, a quick cameo, or even a blurry background role. "You’re like family to me. Thank you, Pawan Annaya. From now on, with your permission, you’re my big brother."

Fans of Pawan Kalyan and Arjun Das are already buzzing about this brotherly bond forming behind the scenes of They Call Him OG.
