Asian Legends League announces season 2, appoints Madan Lal as Head of Technical Committee

World Sports Group, the league’s organizer, just revealed plans to add two fresh squads: the Gulf Gladiators and Pakistan Panthers.

The excitement kicked off today, September 25, with player draft registrations now open. Eligible former international stars can sign up to join this top-tier platform for cricket legends and relive their glory days on the field.

League Commissioner Chetan Sharma shared his enthusiasm: “Season 1 was just the start. Season 2 will take things to the next level with new teams, fresh talent, and even broader appeal. We’re thrilled to offer these retired heroes another shot at world-class cricket.”

In a smart move, World Sports Group also named former Indian cricketer and coach Madan Lal as Head of the Technical Committee for Season 2. He’ll handle key tournament details, from playing conditions and player welfare to ensuring fair play for everyone involved.

The group stressed its dedication to supporting retired players, giving them a stage to display their skills, bond with fans, and motivate young athletes. As a spokesperson put it, “The Asian Legends League isn’t only a tournament—it’s a tribute to cricket’s golden era and the icons who defined it.”
