Nupur’s inspiring trip from tough training sessions to grabbing silver on the global stage hit home with everyone at CGC University Mohali. During a chat with students, she opened up about the discipline, persistence, and mindset needed to beat obstacles. Her key takeaway? Real success comes from hard work and resilience, not just luck or connections.

S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, the Founder Chancellor of CGC University Mohali, shared his thoughts at the event: “We at CGC University Mohali always spotlight people who motivate others in society. Nupur shines as a model of bravery and commitment. Her story echoes the perseverance, discipline, and drive we build in our students. Making her our Brand Ambassador lets us honor her wins and strengthen our goal of creating a generation that chases dreams and succeeds no matter the challenges.”

Mr. Arsh Dhaliwal, the Managing Director, added: “This is a key chapter for CGC University Mohali as we welcome Nupur as our Brand Ambassador. She’s a fighter in the ring and a true role model whose experiences align with our core values of toughness, top performance, and staying the course. With her representing us, we’re sure her tale will spark big ambitions in our students and push them to go further. This isn’t just a title—it’s a joint effort to build leaders who make a lasting impact on the world.”

The ceremony also highlighted India’s strong showing at the Women World Boxing Championships 2025. Nupur’s silver in the 80kg category joined golds from Jaismine Lamboria in 57kg and Minakshi Hooda in 48kg, plus a bronze from Pooja Rani in 80kg. These wins mark a proud step forward for Indian boxing.

By choosing Nupur as Brand Ambassador, CGC University Mohali shows it’s more than a school—it’s a hub for big dreams where hard work gets rewarded, skills grow, and success takes new shape. This day will stick in memory as the time the university welcomed a top athlete and a guiding light to inspire students toward bold futures full of courage, fresh ideas, and outstanding achievements.
