In a heated property dispute shaking up the Kapoor family, the Delhi High Court has given Priya Kapoor the green light to submit details of her late husband Sanjay Kapoor’s private assets in a sealed envelope. This move comes as tensions rise between family members over inheritance and trust shares.

The court made it clear: all involved parties must promise not to spill any secrets to the media. Priya’s lawyer, Rajeev Nair, stressed that the goal is simple—keep the information inside the courtroom and out of the public eye. He urged everyone to avoid turning this into a media circus, especially with a so-called “media trial” already buzzing online. “We should focus on the facts in court, not outside drama,” Nair said.

But not everyone agrees. Mahesh Jethmalani, who represents Karisma Kapoor’s children, pushed back hard against any media blackout. “You can’t just silence the press like that,” he argued. Jethmalani went further, accusing Priya of shady moves between August 22 and 26, claiming she grabbed properties, snatched shares, and drained bank accounts. He added that his clients only got a 6% stake because of what he called a “fake will,” and questioned why anyone would need to hide anything.

Meanwhile, the court heard updates on the kids’ slice of the RK Trust—Priya’s side noted that Karisma’s children already hold a whopping 190 crore rupees worth of shares, separate from this private property fight. When the judge asked Jethmalani for ideas on keeping things confidential, he doubled down, saying secrecy isn’t the issue here.

In the end, the Delhi High Court laid down the law: no one talks to the media about this. Priya can file her documents under seal, but she has to share a copy with the other side to keep the case moving fairly. This Kapoor family inheritance battle continues to draw eyes, blending Bollywood glamour with gritty legal twists.
