With her hands full on the “Cocktail 2” set, Rashmika had to skip the trailer launch for her upcoming horror comedy “Thamma,” which stars Ayushmann Khurrana. But she made sure to send her love with a sweet video message. “Hi guys, I’m so sorry I couldn’t make it to the trailer launch,” she said. “I’m shooting ‘Cocktail 2’ in Sicily, but I really hope you all loved the ‘Thamma’ trailer and this fresh Maddock horror comedy.”
Rashmika gushed about her character, Tadaka, calling her “such an important and strong” role. “I had the honor of playing her, and I absolutely loved it on screen,” she added. “I can’t wait for you to see ‘Thamma’ in theaters this Diwali!”
The film boasts a stellar cast: Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok, Rashmika as Tadaka, Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Yakshasan, Paresh Rawal as Ram Bajaj Goyal, and Sathyaraj as Elvis Karim Prabhakar, among others. “Thamma” hits theaters on October 21, just in time for Diwali celebrations.
