Women entrepreneurs in Uttar Pradesh are buzzing with excitement at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS 2025) in Greater Noida. This event is boosting their confidence and opening doors to global markets, as shown by inspiring success stories from the show.
These women-led businesses are grabbing attention with big deals from both Indian and international buyers. They’re also reshaping their brands and putting Uttar Pradesh on the map as a top spot for friendly business policies.
Take Sangeeta Singh from Kanpur. This is her third year at UPITS, and she’s thrilled with the results. “This event has been a game-changer for me,” she says. “I got an amazing response from international buyers right away. On Saturday alone, I signed a $10,000 MoU. I have to give credit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for their amazing work in supporting women entrepreneurs—it’s setting a new standard for women’s empowerment.
Shruti Chandak, based in Delhi-NCR, also sealed a deal with foreign buyers during the show. “I’m so happy to join this event, thanks to the Uttar Pradesh government and CM Yogi Adityanath,” she shares. “UPITS gives women entrepreneurs like me a real shot at going global with our brands. I’m truly grateful for these opportunities.”
For first-timer Rabeen Kaur, the experience has been a highlight. Her food products drew rave reviews, especially from overseas visitors. “The feedback has been fantastic, and I’ve already landed some strong business leads that’ll turn into MoUs soon,” she says. “We’ve signed a few already. The vibe here is so supportive for women in business, and I applaud the Uttar Pradesh government’s efforts.”
Rabeen even inked an MoU with a company from Mauritius. The company’s rep couldn’t stop praising UP’s policies, calling the products “world-class” and the event a standout for building international trade ties.
These stories highlight how women entrepreneurs are thriving thanks to Uttar Pradesh’s Ease of Doing Business reforms. The state’s single-window clearance system, streamlined investments, and special incentives are turning the region into a hotspot for fresh opportunities and women’s empowerment in business.
