The Hartford Opens Technology Center In Hyderabad To Accelerate AI Innovation

The Hartford, a major U.S. insurance giant, kicked off its new India Technology Center in Hyderabad today. This fresh hub in the bustling Hyderabad Financial District marks a big step for the company as it dives deeper into artificial intelligence and digital innovation.

Nestled on the top two floors of the sleek Kalyani Trident building, the center buzzes with spots designed for teamwork and fresh ideas. You’ll find modern workstations, dedicated training areas to keep skills sharp, and even a wall showcasing The Hartford’s 200-plus years of history. It’s all about sparking creativity and helping teams grow.

“Our real power has always come from our people,” said Shekar Pannala, The Hartford’s Chief Information Officer. “With this tech center in Hyderabad, we’re building on our top-notch talent to create cutting-edge digital and AI tools. It’s going to draw India’s best engineers and push insurance technology forward in exciting ways.”

Hyderabad stood out for its mix of rich history and tech-savvy vibe, plus its pool of skilled workers and status as a global hotspot for innovation. The new office fits into The Hartford’s plan to build a worldwide tech team. It joins existing U.S. spots in Hartford, Connecticut; Chicago, Illinois; and Charlotte, North Carolina, to speed up AI development and boost the company’s overall innovation drive.
