Rashmika Mandanna dazzled fans with her energetic moves in the first track from her upcoming film Thamma, called “Tum Mere Na Huye, Na Sahi.” The lively dance number quickly became a fan favorite, and the star recently shared the fun behind its creation.

The shooting trio—Rashmika, co‑star Ayushmann Khurrana, and the production crew—decided on the spot to film the song at a beautiful, spontaneous location. “We were shooting the film for 10‑12 days and on the last day, the director and producers had this bright idea: ‘Why not shoot a song here?’” Rashmika told her Instagram followers. “I said, ‘Sure!’ and within three to four days we completed the whole shoot.”

The actress praised everyone involved: the dancers, costume designers, set builders, lighting crew, and producers. “It was a true team effort,” she said. “Thank you for making this song so amazing. Watch it, feel the rhythm, and dance along if you can.”

Before the January release, she explained why the track was such a highlight. “The choreography, the beats, the set—everything felt heart‑warming. It was one of the most fun songs I’ve ever filmed.”

Thamma is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal in key roles. The film is set to hit theaters on 21 October, during the Diwali festival, promising audiences an entertaining blend of drama and music.
