Actor Arjun Kapoor’s sister, Anshula Kapoor, celebrated her recent Gor Dhana ceremony in Mumbai with a heartfelt Instagram post that turned a wedding day into a homemade fairytale.

Anshula called the ceremony “a fairy tale come true,” thanking her late mother, Mona Kapoor, for turning their engagement into the dream she had always imagined. She shared details that made the day feel personal—Mona’s favorite flower, the rajnigandha, a wall of family photos, the rom‑com movies they watched together, and handwritten notes from her son Rohan.

In her caption, Anshula wrote, “Dear Ma, you were right—fairytales can be real… The Gor Dhana was everything Ro and I dreamt of, pieces of us and pieces of you woven into every detail. From the rajnigandha you loved to the wall of family photos, old rom‑coms, the letters Ro has written, and our favorite nostalgic sweets… it felt like walking through our own memory lane.”

She added that her mother’s presence filled the room, hearing laughter, feels of hugs, and the scent of familiar flowers. “Love was everywhere that night, Ma— in the laughter, the chaos, the hugs that felt like home,” she wrote, ending with a ♥️ emoji.

Anshula thanked “the most incredibly wonderful team at @threeentertainment” for crafting each detail and turning memories into moments. She also praised @aashh.anand for creating “magic” that she will always remember.

The engagement of Anshula and Rohan Thakkar was part of the Gor Dhana celebration on October 2. Close family, including cousins Sonam, Shanaya, Janhvi and Jahaan Kapoor, as well as friends, gathered in Mumbai for this intimate ceremony.
