Mumbai, October 8 – Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan officially joined the billionaire ranks today, making him the richest actor worldwide. His net worth is now about $1.4 B, according to the 2025 Hurun India Rich List.

Khan’s rise is not just about box‑office hits. He runs Red Chillies Entertainment, a company that produces, distributes and owns the rights to major films like Chennai Express, Raees and Pathaan. The studio also handles special effects, adding another stream of income.

Besides film, the actor has smart investments that keep the money flowing. He co‑owns the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), an Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise that earns millions from sponsorships and match day revenue. He owns high‑value real‑estate in several cities: his Mumbai home Mannat, a Beverly‐Hills villa, a farmhouse in Alibaug and properties in London and Dubai.

A newly‑revealed clip from The Anupam Kher Show shows Khan calling himself “the last of the stars.” When Kher asked if he worried that his fame might fade, Khan replied confidently, “It won’t happen … I am telling you honestly, I am the last of the stars.”

The tally puts Shah Rukh Khan ahead of other global celebs, such as Taylor Swift ($1.3 B), Arnold Schwarzenegger ($1.2 B) and Jerry Seinfeld ($1.2 B). His journey shows that a mix of talent, business acumen, and self‑belief can turn a film career into a lasting empire.
