What’s new in 2025?
The theme, “Cyberspace: Of Starbursts, Black Holes, and Last Frontiers,” uses space imagery to describe today’s cyber landscape—fast‑moving, high‑risk and full of new tech like AI and quantum computing. Organisers say the focus this year is on foresight, trust‑building and accountability as cyber threats become more complex.

Speakers and topics
GovWare will feature over 170 speakers. Highlights include:

  • Royal Hansen, Google Engineering Vice‑President
  • Dr. Megat Zuhairy, Malaysian National Cyber Security Agency chief
  • Eng Choon Goh, ST Engineering Cyber head
  • H.E. Marta Pelechova, Czech Republic Cyberspace Envoy
  • Col Clarence Cai, Singapore Armed Forces cyber chief
  • Alex Stamos, former SentinelOne CISO, now advisory to a CEO
  • Esa Joffel, Finland’s nuclear cybersecurity inspector
  • Dr. Alejandro Montblanch, HSBC quantum defence lead

Topics cover AI and digital trust, incident response, cloud security, geopolitical implications, supply‑chain resilience, and creating sustainable cyber ecosystems.

Government sessions
Attendees will join closed‑door sessions where top agencies—CSA, CSIT, DIS, GovTech, and IMDA—share the latest threat intelligence and operational insights.

Innovation showcase
Startups from Singapore’s IMDA Accreditation@SGD, Spark, CyberSG TIG Collaboration Centre and CyberSG R&D programmes will display enterprise‑grade solutions. Country pavilions from the Czech Republic, France and Finland will also present their tech and services.

Exhibition floor
More than 300 exhibitors will exhibit cutting‑edge security technologies. Expect live demos from Cisco SOC, Check Point, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Security, Huawei and other leading vendors. Highlights include AI‑driven threat detection, quantum‑resilient solutions and infrastructure security tools.

Critical Information Infrastructure focus
Invite‑only forums for the financial services and healthcare sectors will let leaders discuss sector‑specific cyber challenges and policy impacts.

AI‑Sec event
GovWare partners with Trend Micro to launch AISec, a new session that pulls together public and private actors to share best practices for protecting AI models and harnessing AI to fight modern threats.

Why it matters
GovWare 2025 reaffirms Singapore’s role as a regional cyber hub, driving cooperation, strengthening public‑private ties and helping secure a trusted digital future for businesses and governments alike.
