Baliyan helped launch the Pro Volleyball League in Uttar Pradesh, turning it into a landmark event that drew more than 120 players from India, abroad and across all age groups. The tournament was streamed live in more than 100 countries and racked up over 450 million views on TV and digital media—an unprecedented reach for Indian volleyball.
At the summit, Baliyan said India is full of sporting talent. “We want to give volleyball the recognition it deserves and provide players with the professional platform they need,” he told the audience. His leadership is pushing volleyball in India toward full professional status, inspiring new players and boosting the country’s presence in international sport.
The summit also highlighted the growing influence of Indian athletes and experts worldwide, with visionaries from across the globe gathered to celebrate innovation, leadership and excellence.
