Meghan Markle used International Day of the Girls to honor her four‑year‑old daughter, Princess Lilibet. The 44‑year‑old posted a fresh set of family photos and a short video on Instagram, encouraging girls everywhere to claim their voice and protect their rights.

To all the girls—this world is yours.
Do everything you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other. We will do the same for you. It’s your right and our responsibility.”

she wrote, ending with a playful “Go get ‘em girl! 🏃‍♀️ Happy International Day of the Girl.”

The picture shows Markle in a crisp white button‑down and matching pants, holding Lilibet’s hand as the pair look out over a creek. Lilibet looks cute in a pink dress, her red hair tied back in a messy ponytail and carrying a tiny handbag.

In the accompanying video, she watches Lilibet run happily through the family backyard. The heart‑warming clip was shared on Markle’s main feed and later reposted in the Instagram Stories with the same celebratory caption.

The Instagram post comes right after the Sussexes’ joint appearance at New York City’s Project Healthy Mind Gala. The event honored the couple and their charitable efforts through the Archewell Foundation. Markle and Prince Harry were spotlighted in matching black suits, with Markle wearing a sharp Armani blazer and a striking gold chain necklace. Their support for mental‑health advocacy earned them the Humanitarians of the Year award at the gala.

Earlier that day, the couple made a buzz‑worthy appearance on the red carpet, where the Duke of Sussex playfully lifted the Duchess’s arm during a photo‑op, and the pair were seen hand‑in‑hand, letting their affection for one another glow for the camera.

Markle and Harry’s Instagram tribute and gala appearance highlight their dedication to family values, the empowerment of girls, and mental‑health awareness—issues that resonate with millions of fans worldwide.
