India’s junior hockey team stayed unbeaten, handing New Zealand a 4‑2 loss at the 2025 Sultan of Johor Cup in Johor, Malaysia.
The Colts took an early lead when Arshdeep Singh scored in the second minute, followed by double‑scoring from PB Sunil, Araijeet Singh Hundal and Roman Kumur.
New Zealand responded with goals from Gus Nelson and Aidan Max, but India’s defence and quick counter‑attacks kept the gap wide enough to secure the win.
