New Delhi, Oct 12 – The M3M Foundation teamed up with Kreeda Bharati to host a lively “Felicitation and Blessing Ceremony” on Sunday for 357 Indian athletes heading to next‑year’s Asian Youth Games in Bahrain.
The event, held at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, celebrated India’s rising sports talent and their fierce spirit as they gear up to compete on the global stage. It marked a key moment in the “Vijayee Bhava” movement, a program designed to empower young athletes under Mission 2036. The movement’s anthem was launched during the ceremony, adding extra hype for the upcoming games.
High‑profile guests welcomed the contingent, including Haryana’s Sports Minister Gaurav Gautam, OIA President P. T. Usha, M3M Foundation chair Dr. Payal Kanodia, Kreeda Bharati secretary Prasad Mahankar, Olympic medallist and Asian Youth Games 2025 chef de mission Yogeshwar Dutt, and M3M Foundation head Dr. Aishwarya Mahajan. Haryana’s Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini sent a heartfelt video message of support.
Gautam emphasized the state’s ongoing commitment to promoting sports under his visionary leadership. Mahankar praised M3M for its impact and urged more teamwork to grow sports communities across India.
A spotlight fell on M3M’s flagship program, Lakshay, which gives rising athletes mentorship, gear, training, and career guidance. The initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s plan to turn India into a global sporting powerhouse.
“We’re proud to back young athletes who carry a billion hearts’ hopes,” said Dr. Kanodia. “Lakshay offers the right ecosystem for them to grow, compete, and bring glory to our nation.”
The ceremony wrapped up with the distribution of official kits to the athletes bound for Bahrain, ready to represent India at the 2025 Asian Youth Games.
