Actress Rajisha Vijayan gave a glowing tribute to co‑star Anupama Parameswaran during a grand pre‑release event for Mari Selvaraj’s upcoming sports drama “Bison.” The film, set to hit screens on October 17, stars Dhruv Vikram and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles.
During the event in Chennai, Rajisha celebrated Anupama’s humility. “I’ve never seen a superstar who lets a single moment slip through,” she told reporters. “Every interview felt like it belonged to Anupama, yet she never showed an inch of ego.” Rajisha added that the two of them had become close friends outside of the film, and that Anupama was a joy to work with.
Rajisha also praised Dhruv Vikram for his hard work and dedication. “After this movie, Tamil cinema will have a new superstar,” she said. “His commitment is clear.”
“Bison” is more than just a sports story. Director Mari Selvaraj hopes the film adds an extra layer of depth beyond his previous works. In addition to the leads, the cast features Lal, Pasupathy, Hari Krishnan, Azhagam Perumal, Aruvi Madhanand, and Kalaiyarasan in supporting roles.
The film’s cinematography is handled by Ezhil Arasu K, while Sakthi Thiru edits the picture. Producers Sameer Nair, Deepak Saigal, director Pa Ranjith, and Aditi Anand are backing the project.
With a star‑powered cast and a compelling social message, “Bison” promises to be a key release in Tamil cinema this fall.
