Sanjay Dutt’s Shocking Police Call and Jail Stories on The Great Indian Kapil Show

Mumbai’s own Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt dropped some jaw-dropping revelations during his fun episode on The Great Indian Kapil Show alongside buddy Suniel Shetty. Fans couldn’t get enough of his candid chat, where he spilled the beans on everything from an unexpected police summons to his creative side in prison.

Picture this: Sanjay gets a sudden call from the police station. "They said they wanted to meet me," he recalled, sounding totally puzzled. As the K.G.F: Chapter 2 actor, who’s no stranger to dramatic twists in films, Sanjay wondered what new trouble was brewing. But hold on – it turned out to be amazing news!

When the officers met him, they dropped a bombshell: a lady had passed away and willed her entire property to Sanjay. We’re talking a prime building in South Mumbai worth a whopping ₹159 crores! Can you imagine inheriting that out of the blue? Sanjay, ever the honest guy, was like, "I don’t even know her – I can’t take this." He politely returned the property to her family, but only on one condition: they had to use it wisely and for good.

The conversation didn’t stop there. Sanjay opened up about how his love for acting kept him going during his tough time in jail. Remember, he served a sentence in Pune’s Yerwada Central Jail from 2013 to 2016 after his 2007 conviction under the TADA Act for illegal arms possession tied to the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. But Sanjay turned it into something positive. "Acting was my passion, and it helped me survive," he shared.

He even formed a theatre group inside the prison, directing fellow inmates – including those convicted of serious crimes like murder – in plays. "I was the director," Sanjay said with a cheeky grin and a dash of dark humor that had everyone laughing. Talk about turning lockdown into showtime!

Archana Puran Singh couldn’t resist asking about his carpentry skills in jail. Sanjay revealed he got paid for crafting furniture like chairs and even making paper bags. "I earned wages there," he said proudly. But wait, there’s more – he started his own radio station called Radio YCP! "We discussed topics, did comedy skits, and I hosted while three or four inmates helped with scripts," he added. Who knew prison life could spark such creativity?

Sanjay Dutt’s episode on The Great Indian Kapil Show truly showed his resilient spirit, blending humor with heartfelt stories. It’s a reminder of how the Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. star has bounced back stronger, inspiring fans with his real-life adventures. If you’re a Bollywood buff searching for Sanjay Dutt jail stories or Kapil Sharma show highlights, this one’s a must-watch!
