Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu shared some big updates on Wednesday at a lively public meeting in Anantapur. Despite tough financial challenges, the TDP-led NDA government is delivering on its election promises, he said. Naidu announced that on Dussehra, the state will roll out Rs 15,000 annual financial aid for every autorickshaw driver—another key pledge coming to life.
The event, called ‘Super Six Super Hit’, celebrated the NDA coalition’s success in implementing its ‘Super Six’ promises. Naidu called the TDP-Jana Sena-BJP alliance a total hit and promised it would keep going strong to drive Andhra Pradesh’s development forward. Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, BJP state president Daggubati Purandeswari (wait, no—PVN Madhav), and leaders from all three parties spoke to the cheering crowd.
Naidu didn’t hold back on criticizing the opposition YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). He slammed their leaders’ harsh language and warned that the government won’t tolerate any moves to stir up violence. Blaming the previous YSRCP regime for the state’s money woes, he revealed they piled up Rs 10 lakh crore in debt. On the flip side, the current coalition has pulled in Rs 10 lakh crore in investments, he boasted.
The CM highlighted how the ‘Super Six’ schemes have helped lakhs of people in just 15 months. “We’ve done in 100 days what YSRCP couldn’t in five years,” Naidu declared. He praised the ‘NTR Bharosa pension’ as India’s biggest welfare program, with Rs 45,000 crore already spent on it.
Naidu also spotlighted other hits like ‘Annadata Sukhibhava’ for farmer aid, ‘Talli Ki Vandanam’ to support women sending kids to school, ‘Deepam’ for free gas cylinders, and free bus rides for women. To ease worries, he assured farmers that urea supplies won’t run short.
Taking a jab at YSRCP, Naidu said the party faces an “existential threat”—they’re closing offices and hiding on social media. He challenged YSRCP chief and ex-CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to show up in the Assembly for debates. “They want main opposition status, but that’s for the people to decide, not me,” Naidu quipped.
Looking ahead, Naidu reaffirmed the TDP-Jana Sena-BJP alliance’s unity, crediting it for boosting party workers’ pride. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for all the support to Andhra Pradesh. His vision? A healthy, wealthy, and happy society. “I’ll keep fighting for the poor until my last breath,” he vowed.
Pawan Kalyan echoed the sentiment, noting how the government is pushing welfare despite budget hurdles. He mentioned the new Rs 25 lakh health insurance for every family and a record number of gram sabhas held across villages.
BJP’s Madhav wrapped up by saying the state’s economy went off track under YSRCP but the NDA team has put it back on the right path. The meeting left everyone buzzing about Andhra Pradesh’s promising future under this coalition.
