PM Modi, Rahul, Kharge to be invited to Telangana Rising Global Summit

Hyderabad, Dec 1 (LatestNewsX) – The Telangana government has decided to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, and AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge to the upcoming Telangana Rising Global Summit, which will take place on December 8–9 at Bharat Future City.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will personally hand out the invites to the three leaders. According to the CM’s Office, the administration plans to welcome a mix of national and international dignitaries for the two‑day event. In addition, Union ministers, chief ministers of all states, leading industrialists, top economists, celebrated sportspeople, media figures, diplomats, and experts from various domains will also receive invitations.
State ministers and senior officials will issue the formal offers through a dedicated invitation committee, which will also launch a special website. Led by special chief secretary Sabyasachi Ghosh, the committee will coordinate all logistics—from sending invitations to arranging guests’ arrivals and accommodations.
The Chief Minister will track the progress of the outreach on a dashboard. As of now, the government has dispatched invitations to 4,500 representatives, and 1,000 have already confirmed. Special chief secretary Jayesh Ranjan said the numbers are increasing steadily.
At the summit, Telangana will unveil its flagship plan, the "Telangana Rising 2047" vision document. The CM told reporters that the strategy was crafted from lessons of the past and is aimed at securing a brighter future for younger generations. “We will strengthen the state’s economy by partnering with global giants to create jobs for our youth,” he added.
The document places a strong emphasis on vision and strategy, inviting widespread participation in the state’s development. Collaboration with organizations such as NITI Aayog and ISB is already underway, with teams analysing detailed sectoral plans.
Division of the state into three zones was highlighted, with the Core Urban Region Economy (CURE) slated for a boost to support overall growth. Concerns about rising pollution in major cities have prompted CM Reddy to stress the need for a cleaner Greater Hyderabad. Plans include shifting energy‑intensive industries out of the core area, while the Musi Rejuvenation Project and Metro Rail extension will further enhance the urban core.
The proposed Regional Ring Road, extending 360 km beyond the Outer Ring Road, will establish a Peri‑Urban Region Economic (PURE) zone. Key projects such as Bharat Future City, a greenfield highway bullet train, and improved connectivity to Machilipatnam are part of the broader development strategy.
