On December 3, Telangana’s Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy flew to New Delhi and met key Congress figures – Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi – to personally invite them to the upcoming “Telangana Rising Global Summit” taking place in Hyderabad on 8‑9 December. He, along with Deputy Chief Minister and local Congress MPs, briefed the leaders on the Vision Document that the state plans to unveil during the summit. The same day the CM met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at Parliament, summarised the Vision Document, and extended an invitation for the summit. He also had separate talks with Urban Development Minister Manohar Lal and IT & Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to bring them on board. When he arrived in Delhi the night before, the CM called upon Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to pass on the invitation. The event is intended as Telangana’s flagship platform to showcase its development blueprint, major infrastructure projects, investment opportunities and the long‑term “Telangana Rising 2047” roadmap. The state government has tasked its Cabinet with personally inviting every state’s Chief Minister. To streamline this outreach, ministers have been assigned specific states—N. Uttam Kumar Reddy will approach the Chief Ministers of Jammu & Kashmir and Gujarat, Damodar Raja Narasimha will visit Punjab and Haryana, Duddilla Sridhar Babu will go to Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, Konda Surekha will travel to Chhattisgarh, Jupally Krishna Rao to Assam, Tummala Nageswara Rao to Madhya Pradesh, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy to Andhra Pradesh, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy to Uttar Pradesh, Ponnam Prabhakar to Rajasthan, Danasari Anasuya Seethakka to West Bengal, Vivek Venkatswamy to Bihar, Vakati Sridhar to Odisha, Adluri Laxman Kumar to Himachal Pradesh, and Mohammed Azharuddin to Maharashtra. Telangana MPs will also extend invitations to the Delhi Chief Minister, Union Ministers and Governors.
