Chennai, Dec 5 (Reuters) — Word on the street is that director Jason Sanjay’s upcoming feature Sigma, which stars Sundeep Kishan, has secured a cameo from Catherine Tresa for a special dance sequence.

Industry insiders report that Tresa will perform a high‑energy number with Kishan, set to a tune by music maestro Thaman, whose hits are famed for their dynamic beats and punchy scores.

The track, filmed on a sprawling, vivid set, is expected to be a standout moment. Sundeep Kishan’s first look, recently unveiled, shows him in a rugged, introspective look that hints at an adventurous tale of treasure hunting filled with mystery, wit, and heart‑pounding action.

Kishan carries the mantle of a maverick hero—an authentic Sigma—who forges his own path, defying norms and conquering obstacles with sheer grit. The movie blends adrenaline‑filled heist excitement with moments of humor and emotion, promising a fresh twist for mainstream cinema, according to sources.

The film has become one of the most talked‑about releases in Tamil cinema, largely because this is the debut directorial effort of Jason Sanjay, the son of celebrated actor Vijay, who is stepping away from films to focus on politics.
