Delhi CM Slams Congress Over AI Video Insulting PM Modi’s Late Mother

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta didn’t hold back on Friday, blasting the Congress party for sharing an AI-generated video that mocks Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother, Heeraben Modi. She called it a "vile act" that disrespects not just PM Modi but every mother in India.

In a strong post on X (formerly Twitter), Gupta accused the Congress of crossing all lines of political decency after losing public support. "This isn’t a one-off mistake—it’s a planned conspiracy," she wrote. She pointed fingers at Rahul Gandhi, saying the party keeps humiliating PM Modi’s revered mother under his watch. "In our culture, mothers hold the highest place. Congress is repeatedly hurting that honor. They must close this shop of hate and apologize to every mother in the country," Gupta added.

The controversial AI video, posted by the Bihar Congress unit, has gone viral. It shows PM Modi dreaming of his mother scolding him over his political decisions. This isn’t the first time—earlier, during a Congress-led Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar’s Darbhanga, someone on stage hurled abuses at PM Modi and his mother, drawing massive backlash.

The BJP has fired back hard at the opposition, especially Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), targeting leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav. PM Modi himself spoke out earlier at an event, calling the insults a direct attack on all mothers, sisters, and daughters across India. "Mother is our world, our self-respect. I never imagined this in Bihar’s rich traditions. RJD and Congress abused my mother, who lived to 100 and stayed out of politics. I left her to serve the nation and other women," he said emotionally.

This row highlights the heated political tensions in India, with both sides accusing each other of stooping low. As the debate rages on social media and public forums, many are demanding respect for personal dignity amid the election buzz.
