During that conversation, Tucker supposedly told people, including Nuzzi, that Bobby was being blackmailed by Israel. Lizza recalls Tucker framing the situation as a vast, deep‑state scheme aimed at Trump, with Bobby as the target. He portrayed himself as a kind of Alex Jones figure for Bobby, echoing Oliver Stone’s style.
