In Mumbai, festive preparations are in full swing as Adani Electricity takes steps to ensure a safe and bright Ganesh Chaturthi celebration. The power provider has installed more than 2,571 floodlights at 167 Ganesh idol immersion sites spread across 15 wards of the Mumbai city. These floodlights will help illuminate the immersion areas, making the process safer and more enjoyable for devotees.

Apart from this, Adani Electricity has also set up 80 floodlights around Mount Mary Church in Bandra, gearing up for the Mount Mary Fair from September 5 to September 14. This will help enhance visibility and safety during the celebrations.

A company spokesperson said, “Our main goal is to provide a reliable and uninterrupted power supply during this festive season, so everyone can enjoy it without any worries.” They also mentioned that their team of power warriors is fully prepared with all the necessary equipment and is strategically placed across the city to handle any power emergencies during Ganesh immersion days and the Mount Mary Fair.

To make things easier for organizers, Adani Electricity has streamlined the process for temporary electricity connections. Now, pandals and event organizers can get their power connections within 48 hours of applying, ensuring smooth celebrations.

This year, nearly 1,000 Ganesh pandals have chosen Adani Electricity to power their Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, trusting in their reliable electricity supply. Last year, the company provided uninterrupted power to over 986 pandals across Mumbai, and this year they are fully prepared to keep the lights on.

In August, the company also offered temporary connections at residential rates to Ganesh pandals, making it affordable and easy for organizers to get electricity during the festival.

In addition, Adani Electricity partnered with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s Disaster Management Department to conduct electrical safety training for Ganesh Mandal volunteers. This joint effort aims to reduce electrical hazards and boost emergency preparedness during the festivities, ensuring a safe and joyful Ganesh Chaturthi for everyone.
