Apple has unveiled a new lineup of devices powered by its cutting‑edge M5 chip, promising faster performance, better battery life and smarter AI features. The announcement comes after months of speculation and adds fresh horsepower to Apple’s engineering portfolio.

The new M5‑powered devices include the latest iPhone 15 series, a redesigned iPad Pro, and a next‑generation MacBook Air. In the iPhone 15, Apple says the chip delivers up to 30 % faster CPU speed and 40 % improved graphics compared with the M4‑based models. The upgraded iPad Pro can now run complex creative apps—such as Procreate and Final Cut Pro—more smoothly, while the MacBook Air features a lower power consumption profile that should extend battery life by at least an hour.

“Every new chip we bring to market is about giving people new ways to create, solve problems and have fun,” Apple CEO Tim Cook explained in the launch video. He also highlighted the M5’s advanced machine‑learning capabilities that will support more sophisticated photo‑editing tools and immersive AR experiences.

Apple’s new devices are available for pre‑order starting Monday and will ship to the U.S. and Canada in mid‑January. Prices begin at $699 for the iPhone 15 and $999 for the iPad Pro, while the MacBook Air will start at $899. The company has confirmed that the M5 chip will also power future Apple Watch models, hinting at a broader ecosystem upgrade.

With the launch of the M5 chip, Apple continues its strategy to lead the market in silicon innovation and to keep consumers excited about what’s next. Whether you’re a gamer, video editor, or just looking for a reliable phone, the new Apple devices promise to deliver speed and efficiency that stand out in today’s competitive tech landscape.
