BMW India, in partnership with Interactive Avenues and the ad‑tech firm VDO.AI, has kicked off a fresh wave of interactive connected‑TV (CTV) ads that showcase the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe and the BMW X3. The launch, announced this week in Gurugram, pushes the brand’s digital advertising into a more immersive, user‑controlled experience.

Unlike classic video ads, the BMW campaigns let viewers play with the ad using their TV remotes. The 2 Series Gran Coupe spot offers a carousel that users can scroll through, while the X3 ad layers dynamic graphics behind interactive elements, creating a sense of depth and motion right on the living‑room screen. The result is a blend of motion, design and storytelling that feels more like a play‑through of a car test‑drive than a typical advertisement.

VDO.AI’s proprietary CTV technology powers the interactivity, delivering AI‑driven targeting and data‑based insights so the ads land in high‑intent households eager for new luxury wheels. The partnership has produced key metrics for BMW India, showing deeper exploration and stronger brand recall among premium audiences.

“We’re all about pushing boundaries, whether we’re building a car or crafting the experience around it,” said Vitesh Barar, Director of Marketing at BMW India. “With VDO.AI, we’ve taken awareness to a new level—making it interactive and intuitive. As CTV becomes mainstream for luxury driving enthusiasts, this platform lets us stay ahead.”

Arjit Sachdeva, co‑founder and CTO of VDO.AI, added: “Collaborating with a forward‑thinking brand like BMW transforms what CTV can do in India. We’ve turned a view into a discovery experience, turning campaigns into memorable journeys.”

Anjani Sankhyan of Interactive Avenues highlighted the campaign’s impact: “CTV is the new prime‑time for sophisticated audiences. By delivering polished, tech‑savvy storytelling, we’ve captured attention, boosted memorability, and elevated BMW’s digital presence.”

The joint effort ran across select premium CTV platforms, reaching households with a strong passion for luxury automotives. BMW India, VDO.AI, and Interactive Avenues claim that this campaign sets a new standard for brand storytelling in the connected age.
