Charlie Kirk’s podcast has leapt into the top 20 U.S. podcasts after his tragic death last month. The show moved up 32 spots to land a place in the quarterly “top 20” list, according to data from Edison Research that Bloomberg previously reported.
Andrew Kolvet, the podcast’s executive producer, and Blake Nett have pushed the series forward since Kirk was killed on Sept. 10. They’ve lined up big names on the show, including border czar Tom Homan, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and Vice President‑elect JD Vance.
Vance has appeared twice since Kirk’s passing. On his most recent episode, he revealed that Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, is now staying with the Vance family at the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C. “My husband’s voice will live on,” Erika told listeners a few weeks after her husband’s death. “The team is keeping this alive… it will remain the North Star of the conservative moment.”
The podcast team keeps the show lively by uploading episodes to Kirk’s YouTube channel and running his social media accounts. While the episode ranks #30 on Apple Podcasts, it sits at #76 on Spotify—yet it still tops Spotify’s U.S. podcast charts on a regular basis.
Kirk’s voice disappeared a year ago, but his books and podcast boom has been all‑the‑time high. Over a week after his death, his new book, Stop, in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life, hit Amazon’s best‑seller list months before its official release in December. The title beat works from former Vice‑President Kamala Harris and Eric Trump.
His older titles have also done well: the 2022 book The College Scam jumped to #5 on Amazon, and his 2020 audiobook The MAGA Doctrine reached #3 on Audible and Apple’s audio charts.
COVID? No. The focus has remained on legacy. Guests on the podcast talk about carrying on Kirk’s mission. “Part of keeping Charlie’s memory alive is keeping the mission alive,” Vance said. “Nobody can replace Charlie, but if we all take a piece, we can ensure his vision continues long after he’s gone.”
