The latest release from the U.S. Justice Department has shocked many with a photo that shows Michael Jackson standing beside Jeffrey Epstein, a man notoriously linked to a sprawling child‑sex‑abuse investigation.
In the shot, Epstein is casually dressed in slippers, while Jackson sports his iconic aviator shades and the same pale, sun‑kissed look that made him a style icon in the early 2000s.
The picture, part of a massive file dump that came out Friday, shows the two men in front of a painting of a woman sunbathing—a detail that adds almost surreal flair to the image.
Nobody knows exactly where or when it was taken, but the file dump contains dozens of other unredacted photos that broaden the picture of Epstein’s celebrity connections.
Among those, one photo released by House Democrats shows Bill Clinton standing with Jackson while a smiling Diana Ross peers in the background.

More images in the deposit show Epstein in a range of settings—from horsing around on a ranch to lounging in a hammock and boarding a helicopter with a small circle of colleagues.
The list of people who graced photographs with the now‑deceased billionaire is long: Woody Allen, Bill Gates, Donald Trump, Alan Dershowitz and, as this new release confirms, Michael Jackson.
