New Delhi — The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) has launched a new tool called Global Tender Services (GTS) to help Indian exporters, especially small and medium‑sized enterprises, find and win overseas contracts.
GTS now lives on the India Trade Portal, the government’s one‑stop shop for trade information and support.
“We chose Dhanteras, a day that marks new beginnings, to unveil GTS,” said Dr Ajay Sahai, FIEO’s director‑general and CEO. “This platform opens global markets to Indian businesses. It’s a game‑changer for our export strategy in a digital, data‑driven world.”
The service is subscription‑based and pulls live tenders in real‑time. Users can access more than 15,000 international opportunities each day from over 8,000 verified sources in more than 150 countries.
GTS reaches out to big names like the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, UNICEF, USAID and many national and local procurement bodies worldwide. Only credible, actionable leads are delivered to exporters.
Advanced search tools—smart filters, sector and region dashboards, and AI‑powered recommendations—let firms track, shortlist and respond to tenders quickly and accurately. By simplifying the bidding process, GTS aims to cut costs and boost win rates for Indian businesses.
The timing of the launch is significant. India is expanding its participation in global trade talks, such as the India‑UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). Under CETA, India will, for the first time, allow UK government procurement to be opened to Indian companies. Similar agreements are in the works with other partners.
GTS gives Indian exporters the visibility and tools they need to navigate overseas procurement systems, capture new opportunities, and support India’s growing trade commitments on the world stage.
