Golden Ratio Films is gearing up to bring an edge‑of‑the‑seat thriller to cinemas across India on October 10. “Lord Curzon Ki Haveli” stars Rasika Dugal, Arjun Mathur, Paresh Pahuja, Tanmay Dhananiya, and UK‑based actor Zoha Rehman in a dark, Hitchcock‑inspired story with a splash of dark humour.

The film marks the first time that actor Anshuman Jha steps behind the camera. Jha, who has been in front of the lens for years, says the script is a passion project that blends psychological tension with unpredictable comedy. He shared the idea at the South Asian Film Market in Singapore, part of Vistas Media’s effort to spotlight fresh South Asian stories. Golden Ratio Films, the content arm of Vistas Media, quickly signed on to produce the film.

Production wrapped in the UK, where the director captured a moody atmosphere that feeds the film’s eerie vibe. The team, which includes co‑producer U.M. Rao’s First Ray Films, worked through pandemic‑era challenges to keep the schedule on track. Vistas Media’s executives called the project a perfect example of the company’s mission to back intelligent, globally appealing cinema from an Indian perspective.

“Lord Curzon Ki Haveli is a novel blend of psychological thriller and dark comedy—a genre that rarely sees the light of day in Indian cinema,” said Saurabh Gupta, co‑founder of Vistas Media. “It speaks to cinephiles and proves that independent Indian movies can push creative boundaries while still drawing audiences.”

Piiyush Singh, COO of Vistas Media, added that the film helps the studio “redefine genre boundaries while keeping commercial appeal intact.” The message resonates with Golden Ratio Films’ track record, which includes the National Award‑winning “Bhonsle,” the Hollywood rom‑com “The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir,” and the science‑fiction series “JL50.”

The release will be handled by Intikhab Chougle from Vistas Media, who ensures the movie’s rollout reaches the right viewers. Max Marketing presents the film, and viewers can expect both theatrical and upcoming digital releases.

“Once again, we’re bringing a unique voice to the screen,” said Jha. “It’s an exciting step for me and for Golden Ratio Films. The whole Vistas Media team believed in this vision, and that’s why it’s finally here.”

“Lord Curzon Ki Haveli” opens in theaters on October 10, promising a smart, suspenseful, and darkly funny experience for moviegoers. Stay tuned for reviews and further updates as the film moves into post‑production.
