Mumbai – Television fan‑favorite Priyanka Chahar Choudhary has been announced as the new lead for the next season of India’s hit supernatural series Naagin. The announcement came during the finale of Bigg Boss 19, where the star stepped onto the same stage that first launched her TV career in 2017.
Priyanka, who rose to national fame as a top‑three finalist in Bigg Boss 16, caught the eye of the audience again when Ekta Kapoor—the creative head of Naagin—identified her as the perfect fit for the iconic serpent heroine.
