BEUMER Group unveils manufacturing facility at Reliance MET City to expand India footprint
New Delhi, December 11 (LatestNewsX) – Reliance MET City announced that the global powerhouse BEUMER Group has opened a cutting‑edge factory inside its integrated smart city in Haryana.
The company chose MET City as the prime location to extend its manufacturing network in India. The new plant will help meet growing domestic and international demand, speeding up delivery, boosting customisation options, and tightening integration with the region’s expanding industrial supply chain, a statement from MET City said.
“We are delighted to welcome BEUMER Group to MET City’s world‑class industrial ecosystem. Their decision to establish a cutting‑edge manufacturing facility here reflects the confidence global companies place in MET City’s superior infrastructure, strategic location, and investor‑friendly environment,” said Shrivallabh Goyal, Chief Executive Officer of Reliance MET City. “This milestone further strengthens our vision of building India’s most advanced and sustainable industrial township,” he added.
With more than 600 companies on site, over 40,000 jobs created, and IGBC Platinum‑rated sustainability credentials, Reliance MET City continues to draw both international and domestic players in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, electronics, green mobility, and emerging technologies.
The addition of BEUMER Group’s facility underscores MET City’s standing as a premier hub for advanced manufacturing and global enterprises, the company said in a separate statement.
Launching the factory is another key step in MET City’s strategy to foster worldwide partnerships, generate economic opportunities, and boost India’s manufacturing competitiveness.
MET City is a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and is developing the smart city on more than 8,250 acres in the Jhajjar district near the capital. The project has already completed major infrastructure such as a 220 kV substation, a water treatment plant, a distribution network, an extensive road system, and detailed landscaping.
The initiative has become a major engine of economic growth for the state and the surrounding region. It provides direct employment to over 40,000 people across 100 operating companies, with more than 200 companies still under construction.
