Sidharth Malhotra arrives at late Dharmendra’s prayer meet in Mumbai

Mumbai – In a heartfelt gathering in Mumbai, the Deol family arranged a prayer meeting to honor their late icon, Dharmendra. Among the first Bollywood stars to arrive was Sidharth Malhotra. Earlier, Dharmendra’s nephew and actor Abhay Deol had already been seen checking out the venue.

Dharmendra’s death on 24 November sent ripples through the nation and the film industry. At the cremation, guests such as Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and others came to pay their final respects.

The prayer meet was promoted under the banner “CELEBRATION OF LIFE” on social media. The notice read: “Dharmendra, 8 December 1935 – 24 November 2025, Thursday 27 November 2025, 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm,” and listed the venue. It also mentioned that singer Sonu Nigam would perform songs in tribute to Dharmendra’s legacy.

On 25 November, a wide cross‑section of Bollywood figures—including Jeetendra, Rakesh Roshan, Rekha, Hrithik Roshan, Varun Dhawan, Jackky Bhagnani, Rakul Preet Singh, Ajay Devgn, and Allu Aravind—visited the Deol home to offer condolences to the grieving family.

Dharmendra, who was 89 when he passed, had been on a ventilator earlier in the month after breathing problems. He was discharged from the hospital, taken home, and continued treatment there.
