Laser World of Photonics India 2025 wrapped up successfully at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre in Bengaluru, solidifying its spot as a must-attend global hub for photonics and laser technology strategies. This trade fair isn’t just a local event—it’s a gateway for businesses eyeing opportunities in India’s booming economy, where advanced laser and photonics innovations are fueling industrial growth and manufacturing upgrades.
The three-day gathering buzzed with connections and deals, drawing multinational companies and homegrown leaders alike. It featured over 150 exhibitors from more than 20 countries across 6,000 square meters of space. Around 10,844 industry pros showed up, and organizers set up over 500 targeted B2B meetings to spark business in South Asia’s key markets.
Event leaders shared upbeat insights on its impact. Bhupinder Singh, President of IMEA at Messe München and CEO of Messe München India, said the talks shifted from market potential to real action. “We’re now helping companies roll out big tech integrations,” he noted. “These discussions shape investments and partnerships for the year ahead, making this a top priority for executives.”
Dr. Reinhard Pfeiffer, CEO of Messe München, highlighted India’s dual appeal: a huge domestic market and a rising innovation center. “It’s about more than sales—think joint development, local supply chains, and lasting alliances. This fair is where those deals get done.”
H.E. Julius Pranevicius, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs from Lithuania, praised the blend of global tech and Indian know-how. “It opens doors for partnerships that build tougher supply chains and speed up tech in fast-growing spots like India,” he said.
The event earned strong support from groups like VDMA, the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC), Laser Industries Association of India (LIAI), National Centre for Additive Manufacturing (NCAM), Lithuanian Laser Association, and Automotive Research Association of India, plus Peenya Industries Association. Their involvement shows real trust in India’s tech direction and the fair’s role in international teamwork.
Notable guests included Dr. Harshan Budke from L&T Precision Engineering, Dr. Nagahanumaiah from the Central Manufacturing Technology Institute, Carlos Lee from EPIC, Kristina Ananiciene from the Lithuanian Laser Association, and Mr. Pranevicius.
Jaspreet Sidhu, CEO of NCAM, focused on the automotive angle: “This platform unites innovators and leaders to boost safety, efficiency, and green tech in mobility. The ties formed here help India lead in self-reliant, competitive future transport.”
The conference lineup tackled real-world hurdles in adopting photonics for business. Sessions dove into how these technologies cut costs, sharpen precision, and drive supply chain innovations. The two-day PRISM conference, partnered with IEEE Photonics, linked research to commercial quantum photonics. NCAM’s seminar on laser-driven additive manufacturing broke down returns on investment and scaling for smart factories. EPIC and Lithuanian Laser Association forums offered deep dives into global chains and sector opportunities, from quantum computing to defense.
Exhibitors raved about the leads and insights. Tarun Mendiratta from IPG Photonics India called it a smart bet: “We get quality leads and intel to tweak our market plans and products for the region.” Lalit Kumar of Laser Science Services added, “Talks go deep into joint ventures and local support—it’s building Asia’s growth for the next decade.” Sunil Kamath from Maxphotonics agreed: “It helps us expand safely by linking to strong Indian partners and speeding up laser solution launches.”
Buyers found it invaluable for sourcing and staying ahead. Vigneshwaran L from L&T Precision Engineering said, “In the global manufacturing race, you need top tech. This condenses supplier checks and key alliances that secure our edge.” Hariharan V from Titan Company Ltd. viewed it as an investment: “It spots scalable partners to build resilience and spark innovation.” N.C. Vijaya Madhavan from Ola Electric noted the B2B setup: “It gives clear procurement insights, tests supplier strength, and weaves in cutting-edge photonics to boost our global stand.”
Overall, Laser World of Photonics India 2025 proves India’s photonics sector is maturing fast, with the event now a staple on the world stage. It’s where deals happen, strategies align, and a multi-billion-dollar market takes shape—perfect for leaders tracking Asia’s high-tech rise.
