Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Ltd (MLMML), a unit of Mahindra & Mahindra, announced on Wednesday that it has sold over 300,000 electric commercial vehicles (ECVs). The company says it is the first original‑equipment manufacturer in India to hit this milestone.

Impressive sales trend
MLMML highlighted that it moved 100,000 vehicles in just 12 months. The sales jump comes as India’s electric vehicle market grows and more fleet operators shift to greener options.

A fleet that drives change
Mahindra’s electric vehicles—including the Treo range, Zor Grand, e‑Alfa three‑wheelers and the Mahindra ZEO four‑wheeler—have together covered more than 5 billion kilometers. That distance has cut over 185 kilotons of CO₂, roughly the same as planting 4.3 million trees. The company says its EVs help reduce pollution and support India’s sustainability goals.

Building an EV ecosystem
MLMML has focused on the last‑mile segment from the beginning. By working closely with partners, it builds an ecosystem that makes it easier for customers to adopt electric vehicles. Continuous innovation and customer feedback led to newer models such as Treo Plus, e‑Alfa Plus, Zor Grand Range Plus and the updated Mahindra ZEO.

“We’re not just making cars,” said Suman Mishra, CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility. “We’re creating livelihoods and shaping a cleaner future. With innovative products, we keep making electric mobility practical and accessible to all.”

Support for drivers and fleets
The UDAY NXT program offers drivers a ₹20 lakh accidental insurance cover and financial counseling. MLMML also launched a refreshed NEMO platform available on iOS, Android and the web. The app lets fleet managers control multiple vehicles, see real‑time geo‑tracking, book services, access roadside assistance, find charging stations, and more—all from a single interface.

Why the buzz?
With record sales and a growing fleet, Mahindra’s electric commercial vehicles are becoming a key player in India’s shift toward sustainable transport. The company’s focus on affordability, reliability and a strong support system keeps it ahead in the fast‑growing Indian EV market.
