The launch was attended by Maharashtra’s Cultural Affairs Minister Shri Ashish Shelar, Film City Managing Director Swati Mhase Patil, Modi himself, and favourite actors from the hit sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Modi said he sees Film City more as a family than a workplace. “The ambulance is a lifeline,” he explained. “It’s part of our duty to care for the people who bring stories to life on screen.”

The new ambulance will sit alongside Film City’s existing safety protocols. It will provide rapid medical support for anyone on campus who needs help in an emergency, boosting confidence among the thousands who work there daily.
