Proxgy’s founder and CEO Pulkit Ahuja walked into Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi and picked up two top awards that could help boost India’s domestic tech sector. The ceremony, held on September 18‑19 2025 as part of the 6th Global Sustainability Summit & Expo, was backed by nine ministries of the Indian government.
Ahuja, who started Proxgy with a simple goal, said that the recognitions belong to every engineer, partner, and customer who believed in the company’s “Made‑in‑India” vision. “We keep building for India, from the front lines to the world,” he told the packed hall.
What the awards mean
- Founder of the Year – A special nod from the MSME Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (MSMECCI) that celebrates bold entrepreneurship.
- MSME Make‑in‑India Initiative Award – Acknowledges Proxgy’s contribution to India’s manufacturing and tech ecosystem, supporting the Atmanirbhar Bharat push.
The MSPMECCI gave the awards on stage, surrounded by industry leaders, policy makers and academics. The event highlighted Proxgy’s sustained product innovation and its focus on safer, smarter frontline operations.
Proxgy in brief
Proxgy creates hardware‑software bundles that help factories, logistics and other frontline industries run more efficiently and safely. The company insists on keeping everything local: from design to production to support. Its solutions cover everything from training tools to remote collaboration platforms.
Why this matters
India’s startup ecosystem is hungry for tech that can be built, sold and maintained locally. Awards like these shine a spotlight on companies that are carving out a niche in domestic manufacturing. For investors, policy makers and potential customers, Proxgy’s accolades signal that the firm is a credible partner for the future of Indian industry.
The awards at Vigyan Bhawan underscore the growing importance of innovation, sustainability and self‑reliance in India’s industrial strategy—an emphasis the government has highlighted across nine ministries during the summit. For Proxgy, the dual honours are more than trophies; they’re a sign that the company’s vision is resonating in the world’s largest frontier market.
