As companies worldwide rush to embrace cloud technology, they’re facing bigger challenges than ever in balancing growth with top-notch security. More than 94% of enterprises now use the cloud, and a whopping 72% of global workloads run there. This boom in cloud adoption is creating a huge demand for skilled pros in cloud security, compliance, and design.

A 2022 Thales Cloud Security Report, based on research from 451 Research (part of S&P Global Market Intelligence), shows that 79% of organizations juggle multiple cloud providers. That’s making multi-cloud setups more complex. Looking ahead, Gartner predicts that by 2026, 70% of businesses will focus on cloud security posture management, shifting away from old-school IT worries toward modern cloud governance.

Cloud tech is fueling a competitive edge across industries—from spotting fraud in real time for banks, to AI-powered health diagnostics, handling massive retail sales, supporting 5G in telecom, and powering IoT in manufacturing. To tackle this, experts need to build secure, large-scale cloud systems. That’s where REVA Academy for Corporate Excellence (RACE) at REVA University steps in with its new M.Sc. in Cloud Architecture and Security program.

Launched to meet the growing need, this program targets working professionals. It arms them with essential skills, global certifications, and real-world research to thrive in the fast-evolving cloud world.

Dr. Shinu Abhi, Director of Corporate Training at RACE and the program’s director, puts it simply: “Cloud adoption today means getting a handle on multi-cloud setups, automation, and security. Our M.Sc. equips students with hot certifications and practical know-how, setting them up for big careers as cloud architects, security analysts, and leaders in digital transformation.”

What makes this stand out? Students learn straight from top industry pros like CIOs, CTOs, cloud architects, and security experts—not just textbook teachers. These mentors dive into real case studies, live projects, and tough problem-solving that mimic actual business hurdles. The result? Graduates hit the ground running, ready to design, protect, and fine-tune cloud systems for global companies.

Here’s a quick look at the program’s key features:

– 84 credits over 4 semesters and 15 modules, covering cloud basics, SOC operations, DevSecOps, governance, and hybrid cloud deployments.

– Five in-demand certifications from Microsoft and AWS, such as AZ-900, AZ-104, SC-200, AWS SysOps, and AWS Solutions Architect.

– Over 10 mini-projects, plus one major capstone project guided by industry mentors.

– Chances to publish research or file patents, helping grads shine on the world stage.

Students get hands-on time with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, VMware, OpenStack, and Azure Arc, so they’re job-ready right away.

Finishing the program opens doors to exciting roles like cloud security analyst, solutions architect, DevSecOps engineer, hybrid cloud specialist, and compliance consultant. Many grads see career boosts of 50-200%, with some landing leadership spots.

RACE at REVA University welcomes professionals to join this game-changing program, where cloud expertise meets real opportunities in the digital age.
