70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025: Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol recreate ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ moment

On the night of the 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards in Mumbai, the magic of Bollywood’s past and present converged. Fans lit up the auditorium when Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol stepped onto the stage together, instantly rekindling the beloved romance of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
The pair sang “Ladki Badi Anjaani Hai,” their familiar smiles and graceful moves pulling the crowd into the nostalgic mood of 1998. SRK dazzled in a classic black tuxedo, while Kajol stunned in a stunning black saree. After their first performance, director Karan Johar joined them for a warm group hug, a nod to their iconic film.
The duo didn’t stop there. They later performed “Suraj Hua Maddham” from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, leaving everyone speechless with their timeless chemistry.
The awards ceremony, highlighted by Gujarat Tourism’s, also featured entertaining numbers from Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Kriti Sanon, Ananya Panday, and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
In the awards category, Abhishek Bachchan won Best Actor (Male) for I Want To Talk, while Kartik Aaryan took the same title for Chandu Champion. Alia Bhatt received Best Actress for her role in Jigra. For first‑time actors, Nitanshi Goel was named Best Debut Actress for Laapataa Ladies, and Lakshya won Best Debut Actor for *Ba**Ds of Bollywood.
Directorial debuts were honored when Kunal Kemmu and Aditya Suhas Jambhale shared the Best Debut Director award for Madgaon Express and Article 370, respectively.
The event blended classic Bollywood charm with fresh talent, reminding fans why the industry’s biggest names and new stars keep the cameras rolling and hearts beating fast.
