Aamir Khan Denies Criticizing Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’ – Fake Interview Busted!

Mumbai: Rumors flew thick and fast this week, claiming Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan had slammed Rajinikanth’s blockbuster ‘Coolie’. Fans were shocked, especially since Aamir himself stars in the high-octane action film. But hold on – Aamir’s team has now set the record straight, calling out the buzz as totally fake.

On Saturday, Aamir’s spokesperson jumped in to squash the gossip. In a clear statement, they said Aamir never gave any interview bashing ‘Coolie’. "Mr. Aamir Khan has the highest regard for Mr. Rajinikanth, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the entire ‘Coolie’ team," the statement read. They pointed out the movie’s massive success – it raked in over Rs 500 crore at the box office – as proof of its quality.

The drama started when a shady newspaper clipping popped up on social media. It showed Aamir supposedly regretting his role in ‘Coolie’ and complaining he didn’t know what his character was supposed to do. Sounded juicy, right? But Aamir Khan Productions (AKP) wasn’t having it. They dropped an Instagram post to clear the air once and for all.

"On behalf of Mr. Aamir Khan, team AKP wants to state clearly: No interview about ‘Coolie’ happened," the post declared. They labeled the viral clip a "fake interview" spreading like wildfire online. Aamir always respects his projects and doesn’t trash them lightly, they added.

Here’s the kicker – Aamir hasn’t even watched ‘Coolie’ yet! The team explained that director Lokesh was super excited to join him for a screening, but scheduling hiccups kept it from happening. "Coolie’s huge success shows the vision and hard work of everyone involved," the post wrapped up. "Ignore this fake news and any similar rumors."

So, no bad blood between Aamir Khan and Rajinikanth here. Just another case of social media mischief. ‘Coolie’ fans can breathe easy – the film’s riding high on its action-packed glory, and Aamir’s clearly rooting for it behind the scenes. Stay tuned for when he finally catches the movie!
