Mumbai, Oct 11 – Four well‑known Indian actors are set to team up for a new film project that blends humour, emotion and a deeply rooted story. The cast includes Abhishek Banerjee, Gajraj Rao, Ahsaas Channa and Anshumaan Pushkar, who have come from very different parts of the cinema world.

The buzz began when Abhishek posted a photo of the four on his social‑media handles, showing a table read with scripts and captioned “Brewing.” That simple image has turned into a talking point for fans and industry insiders alike.

A source close to the project told the team has already had several readings. “The chemistry between the cast is already electric,” the source said. The crew is preparing for a start‑up print of the shoot, which will take place in Mumbai itself.

The actors say the script’s premise is “unique” – it mixes light‑hearted moments with heartfelt scenes while staying true to a local narrative. Their diverse backgrounds are one of the factors that make the project exciting, the source added.

While this film in the works, Abhishek Banerjee is also making a dramatic return to the stage after a 20‑year break. His new satire, “Tu Kya Hai,” tackles the lives of dreamers who leave behind normal lives to chase the elusive goal of being a performer. The play covers three chapters: the middle‑class household that sees art as a hobby, the chaotic hustle of Mumbai’s entertainment scene, and the quiet inner struggles that surface at night.

Abhishek has said the play is deeply personal, reflecting moments of pain and absurdity that many can relate to. “It blurs the line between tragedy and comedy,” he explained, adding that it feels like a mirror to many who have ever questioned themselves.

The film crew remains tight‑lipped about plot details, but the press suggests the project could offer a fresh take on both comedy and drama. With the cast’s chemistry and the team’s energetic rehearsals, the Mumbai‑based production promises a distinct cinematic experience that is set to hook audiences soon.
