Mumbai, India – The 25th‑year FICCI Frames festival in Mumbai is buzzing with film, TV and entertainment buzz. Actor Faisal Malik, famous from the hit comedy “Panchayat,” spoke to the crowd about why events like FICCI Frames matter for the content‑creation world.

Faisal said these gatherings let makers, producers and anyone who loves film find fresh ideas and new ways to reach audiences. “The biggest benefit is seeing all the new trends in cinema, film marketing and distribution,” he told reporters. “It opens up a whole world of content for us to explore.”

He added that the festival helps every level of the industry. Whether you’re a seasoned filmmaker or a rookie, there’s great value in the workshops, panels and networking chances. “Young people who want to do good work get plenty of opportunities to grow,” he said. As a longtime follower of FICCI, Faisal praised the initiative as a solid platform.

During the event’s second day, Faisal joined a session called “Local Roots, Global Reach: Indian Storytelling from the Heartland.” He shared the stage with fellow actors Pratik Gandhi and Neena Gupta. Gandhi echoed the sentiment, urging more platforms where storytellers and policymakers can meet and shape the industry.

“This country is a land of stories and the most films in the world,” Gandhi said. “We need more stages like this where creators and decision‑makers can talk and spark change.”

FICCI Frames 2025, the region’s biggest media and entertainment convention, continues to attract industry leaders and creators alike, celebrating 25 years of connecting ideas to audiences across Asia.
