Produced by Chola Chakravarthy of Netaji Productions in partnership with G. M Film Corporation, “Draupathi 2” has already sparked a flurry of interest across the audience base.
Sources say the plot unfolds in the 14th century, under the reign of Hoysala emperor Veera Vallalar III, and chronicles the bravery of the Kadavaraya warriors from Sendhamangalam amid the turbulence unleashed by a Mughal invasion of Tamil Nadu.
Within this expansive historical tapestry, Draupathi Devi emerges as a touchstone that links the emotional core of the original film to the expansive arc of the sequel.
