Los Angeles, Dec 22 [LatestNewsX] Star of the screen Amanda Seyfried is buzzing with excitement about her beloved Mamma Mia character, envisioning a future filled with family joys. For her, embracing motherhood is the perfect evolution for Sophie.
Stepping out at the glamorous Los Angeles premiere of The Testament of Ann Lee, Seyfried opened up about her vision for Sophies life in a possible Mamma Mia 3, as detailed by People magazine.
In a heartfelt chat with People, she shared, Oh, with kids. I mean, I love being a mother, the 40-year-old mom of two revealed, drawing parallels between her own life and her Mamma Mia! role. I love playing a mother, and I would love to dive into the curiosities of motherhood and raising children on a Greek island, just like Donna did with Sophie.
Of course, Meryl Streep brought Donna, Sophies vibrant mom, to life in the 2008 hit musical romantic comedy. Seyfried couldnt contain her enthusiasm for a storyline where Sophie steps into motherhood herself.
I think that would be really interesting. I have no idea where the story is going to go, but I know theres going to be a lot of singing and dancing. Im going to keep campaigning for that movie until Im blue in the face, she declared passionately.
People reports that a script for Mamma Mia 3 is fully written, poised as the next chapter after 2018s prequel-sequel Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, with producer Judy Craymer confirming the project is actively in development.
Well, we know what we want to do with the movie, and it will happen, Craymer assured Deadline in May, even teasing the possibility of pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter joining the lineup, likely with Seyfried and Streep, now 76.
Beyond the silver screen, Seyfried lives the motherhood she adores, raising daughter Nina, 8, and son Thomas, 5, alongside husband Thomas Sadoski. The couple, engaged in 2016, tied the knot in an intimate elopement in 2017 and now raise their family on a peaceful farm.
