Amitabh Bachchan turns 83, fans gather outside Jalsa to celebrate his birthday

Amitabh Bachchan turned 83 today, sparking a wave of celebrations across Mumbai. Fans streamed outside the actor’s bungalow, Jalsa, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Bollywood legend on his birthday.

“It’s the day we celebrate the superstar of the century,” one fan told the crowd. “For us, it feels like Diwali and Holi combined. We wait for October 11 every year, hoping he stays healthy.”

Another supporter, who flew in from Bikaner, Rajasthan, wished Big B a happy birthday and asked fans to keep blessing him: “May you remain healthy and happy, and may we keep receiving your blessings.”

The street was filled with fans proudly displaying tattoos of Bachchan’s iconic Deewaar look or wearing shirts printed with his images. A fan from Chhattisgarh told the crowd, “Happy Birthday to our pride and honor, Amitabh Bachchan ji.”

Amitabh Bachchan is one of India’s most celebrated actors. He became a household name in the early 1970s with hits like Anand and Zanjeer, and went on to star in landmark films such as Deewaar, Sholay, and Don. His roles spanned villains, heroes, comic characters, and romantic leads, proving he could do it all.

With over 200 films under his belt, Bachchan’s influence stretches across five decades of Hindi cinema. Even at 83, he remains a top star, inspiring new generations of actors and fans alike. ()
