Actress Aneet Padda, who just landed the lead in the hit film Shakti Shalini, is preparing for a big milestone in her life – her final‑year college exams. The Mumbai‑based actor is set to sit for exams in December‑January before she heads back to the set to film her next big project.

Sources say Aneet is a bright and busy Gen‑Z talent. She is studying B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science while juggling scripts and shoots. “She’s doing her best to give full attention to both her academics and her career,” a close insider added.

The upcoming film, directed by Dinesh Vijan, joins the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU) family and is slated for a December 24, 2026 release. Vijan’s backing promises a strong platform for the young actress to continue her rise.

Aneet first appeared on screen in a small role in the 2022 drama Salaam Venky. Her breakout came when she played a schoolgirl in the Prime Video series Big Girls Don’t Cry. She shot to national fame with her star turn in Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara, a film that topped the 2025 box‑office charts and became the highest‑grossing Indian romance that year.

The MHCU brand itself has seen recent success with Thamma, starring Rashmika Mandanna, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. With a growing filmography and strong industry backing, Aneet Padda is quick to become one of India’s most promising young actors.

Stay tuned for her next moves as she balances exams and upcoming shoots, aiming to keep her momentum in Bollywood alive.
