Bollywood star Anil Kapoor teamed up with sprinting legend Usain Bolt for an exciting sports event in Mumbai, cheering on young athletes at Jamnabai Narsee School Ground.
The gathering marked a big finish to a national school sprinting competition, where top young runners from across India raced in the 100-meter and 200-meter events. Kapoor and Bolt, known as the world’s fastest man, watched from the sidelines, hyping up the competitors.
Kapoor shared the fun on social media with a few photos, writing: “A memorable day at Jamnabai Narsee Campus with @usainbolt, a legend who continues to inspire young minds to chase excellence. Always feel motivated and happy to be around him. @sujay.jairaj @jamnabai.narsee.school.”
In the snaps, the two icons struck playful poses side by side, grinning for the camera.
Just like those speedy kids on the track, Kapoor stays fit and full of energy himself. The actor loves workouts and healthy habits, showing millions how to keep active no matter the age.
On the movie front, Kapoor stars in the upcoming action flick “Subedaar,” directed by Suresh Triveni. He’ll share the screen with actress Radhikka Madan in this story set in India’s heartland. It follows retired soldier Subedaar Arjun Maurya—played by Kapoor—as he tackles everyday life after the army.
Fans got their first peek at Kapoor in the role on his 68th birthday last December. The teaser video shows a tense scene: a house crowded with people pounding on the door, urging the soldier outside. Inside, Kapoor sits with a gun, his eyes fierce and determined. He delivers the line, “Fauji tayyar” (The soldier is ready).
Kapoor captioned the reveal: “A special day calls for a special announcement (cake emoji). #Subedaar, new movie, coming soon.”
